new software: Image Stitcher

As part of my current project (a game in XNA) I needed to paginate a bunch of images, 20 or so, in a line. As you can imagine the thought of doing this by hand was painful, so I decided to write a program to do it for me. The first version worked well enough, so I decided to make a few ammendments and add some features, the result is Image Stitcher.

 What does Image Stitcher do?

Image Stitcher will let you “stitch” together multiple images to make one long image, images can be stitched horizontally or vertically. You can choose to stitch every image, or stitch every [x] image (useful when creating sprite sheets). Double clicking on an image in the file list will preview the image. You can also re order images using the up and down controls as well as randomising their order.

Why would I use Image Stitcher?

Image Stitcher is mainly used to create sprite sheets from individual images but can also be used to stitch together thumbnail images for use on a webpage.

What should I do if I think there is a way that Image Stitcher can be improved?

Tell me! Just leave a message here and I will see what I can do. No promises though.

I like this software, what can I do to help?

Saying thank you would be nice, if anyone one would like to donate any cash to the cause then I’m sure that could be arranged too.

I like this software and want to feature it on my web site.
