I really hope I’m not going to dissapoint people here because this version is rather sparse. The main feature I’ve added is the options screen which contains a selection of fonts, backgrounds and the requested “lefty” mode, which turns all the chords on their heads. I hope its useful. You’ll also notice that any options selected will be saved when you turn your DS back on, (thats save support kyle), which should come in useful. I’ve also left in a very early vesion of the edit screen, in it you can edit the text in files, you can’t save them just yet, just edit them, so basically it’s pretty useless. At least I’ve done something eh? Till next time.

One note of interest… In the chords section, two of the folders are labeled as “F.” The second one (lowest) is actually “G.” Also, it’s hard to tell which hand you’ve chosen in the options section with no visual indication. Other than that, great program!

Thanks for your hard work to date. Very much appreciated.
Some feedback on Tabbed v0.15:
1) Hand orientation: It defaulted to “Left handed” the first time I ran it (after upgrading from v0.14). “Right handed” should be the default, if you ask me.
2) Chord List: Could you add some visual feedback in the lower screen when you touch a chord name (in the detailed list, not the folders)?
3) Metronome: Could you make the speed adjustments finer at low BPM? I’ve only just started guitar and I need a very slow metronome for my horribly slow chord changes. I can’t find a sweet spot on the metronome - it’s always too fast or too slow.
4) Metronome: Could you also display the BPM as numbers (like myMeloDS does)?
5) Metronome: This is purely aesthetic, but you have the metronome clicking at the extremes (left and right) of the swing. Don’t metronomes usually only click at the middle (vertical) position?

Hi anonymous, thanks for the feedback, the hand orientation is the result of poor testing, but can be fixed in about 2 seconds. The cord list, along all lists in tabbed, don’t show which item has been selected. I started looking at this but got distracted, needless to say I will be adding this. The metronome was always meant to be a simple addition with a view to grow it at some point, I don’t think I will be going out to drastically change it straight away but I might try to tweak it a little.
Thanks for the feedback though. It’s always great to know people are getting use out of TaBbed.
